13 Sep Survey Results: Be Caring Employees Feel Valued
Be Caring continues to achieve high colleague satisfaction scores, with 93% of colleagues recommending them as a place to work.
At Be Caring we pride ourselves on our collaborative approach to working. As an employee-owned organisation, we remain committed to hearing from our colleagues and ensuring their voice is reflected in everything we do.
We recently undertook our most recent colleague survey, designed to capture insights from our 800 care and support colleagues, identifying opportunities for improvement and hearing what our colleagues enjoy about working for Be Caring. We are delighted to share that we have maintained or improved in all areas of the survey since last year with 93% of colleagues recommending Be Caring as a place to work! One colleague shared,
“I feel very valued at work, and I know that my efforts are always rewarded and complimented. I also feel a sense of fulfilment as I carry out my duties.”
Aligning With Our Values
Be Caring operates on the key messages found in our vision, mission and values and the recognition that at the heart of everything we do is care.
Our values, to Be Kind, Be Proud, Be the Best You Can Be, Be Happy, Be Safe and Be Involved reflect the culture at the core of our organisation. These values are reflected in our colleague survey results where 98% of colleagues said they feel proud to work for Be Caring. One colleague said,
“I like the values the company has, the support given and the space to share your thoughts. Being valued and heard is important and the company shows that.”
This year’s survey was completed during our summer Coffee and Cake employee engagement sessions. These sessions are a much-appreciated chance for our colleagues to get together, support one another and celebrate their incredible achievements, such as our Long Service and Above & Beyond awards. Our colleagues said,
“I want to say thank you to everyone that makes my stay with Be Caring a beautiful one.”
“I feel very valued at work, my efforts are always rewarded and complimented. I also feel a sense of fulfilment as I carry out my duties.”
“I have never worked for a company that looks after their workers so well and I have worked in the care industry for 40 years.”
