We are thrilled to share the incredible news of our recent victories at the esteemed LaingBuisson Awards! It’s an honour to announce that Be Caring have won not just one, but two prestigious awards – Excellence in Homecare and Excellence in Supported Living, securing our position as sector leaders.

The LaingBuisson Awards celebrate organisations that set new standards of excellence within their sector. Now in their 18th year of recognising excellence, the awards are judged independently and objectively and focus on the people providing the care as well as their leaders. The awards were presented at a high-profile ceremony and dinner which took place on Thursday 16^th November 2023 at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.

Being recognised in these categories recognises our commitment to revolutionising homecare and supported living services.

Securing the Excellence in Homecare award acknowledges our dedication to providing exceptional, personalised care within individuals’ homes. Our values-driven approach and focus on fair compensation for our team through our shift-pay model have redefined what quality care really means. Commenting on our winning submission, LaingBuisson shared, “A strong application from an employee-owned group evidencing their commitment not only to the workers but to clients in a funding context (local authority) which is challenging even at the best of times.” Additionally, the feedback from those we support highlights our commitment to dignity, choice and maintaining high standards. During our recent client surveys, one person shared: “I am really happy with the care. I feel in control and have got some of my life back, I get on really well with my Carers and I don’t feel as anxious as I did and so far everything is going really well!”

Winning the Excellence in Supported Living award underscores our commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals in supported living environments, specifically those we support with Autism or Learning Disabilities. Regarding our winning submission LaingBuisson shared, “A lovely example of person-centred planning promoting independence with mitigation of risk. The commitment to collaboration is evident – lots of evidence throughout the entry and great achievements over the past 12 months.” By prioritising individuals’ independence and fostering inclusivity we’ve set a precedent for excellence in this field.
