Our strapline is ‘Shaping the Future of Social Care’ and as an employee-owned organisation, our colleagues are more than just employees, they are co-owners of the organisation and central to helping us transform the sector. We recognised that in order to achieve this, we needed to value our workforce.
Wherever possible, we offer better terms and conditions to improve the lives of our colleagues, develop and retain good people. Across almost all our services we pay colleagues on a shift basis, paying people for the full-time they are out at work. We are working with all commissioners to contract services in such a way that enables us to value our workforce.
We are a people-first organisation, without shareholders and no debt to service, which means we reinvest surpluses back into our workforce, recognising and rewarding their contribution and commitment. Our standard benefits include:
That’s right – we’ve won awards recently for our fantastic business culture, and also for our work as sector leaders.
